A zenekar tagjai Farkas Gyula módszere szerint tanulták azt a kuriózumnak számító előadásmódot, amivel hosszú évtizedek óta minden generációjuk elkápráztatta a közönséget az egész világon. Az általuk előadott művek hangzásvilága, hangszerelése páratlan, össze nem téveszthető, csak a rajkós zenészek sajátja. A Rajkó Zenészek minden egyes tagja sokoldalú, képzett zenész, így minden műfajt kitűnően interpretál.
